Meet the Iliff team

Administrator: Kathy Delimba, LNHA, RN

Kathy Delimba is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator as well as a Registered Nurse. She has 20 years experience as a nurse and holds an associate's degree in applied science with a major in nursing. Kathy's focus has been long term care nursing for the past 16 years. She is currently a member of the Virginia Healthcare Association and Northern Virginia Directors of Nursing Association. Our staff and residents benefit greatly from her leadership.

Rehab Director: Mehran Ghajar-Rahimi, OTR/L

Mehran received his Bachelorette of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1985. He has extensive experience in his field and has worked in a variety of settings in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. He is the Director of Rehabilitation Department at Iliff Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunn Loring in Northern Virginia. Iliff provides complete Rehab services to Geriatric and Pediatrics populations. Mehran and his team strive to assist their residents to achieve the highest level of functional independence for discharge to home when possible.

Director of Admissions: Chuck Wyson

Chuck Wyson helps families expedite the admission process and ensures a smooth transition from the hospital to our center. Working as a nurse in a variety of settings- from the home, to the hospital, to a rehab center- he helps ensure that patients are properly assessed and that their needs are properly met. Working closely with the discharge planners at various hospitals in our area, Chuck makes sure that patients have a place to rehab and get better once they are discharged from the hospital.

Director of Nursing Services: Dee Conrad

Dee Conrad has 20 years experience in healthcare, and 12 years experience in long term care. She holds degrees in psychology, occupational therapy, and nursing. Her varied experiences in rehabilitation, nursing and management add a well rounded perspective to Iliff.

Director of Social Services: Sherry Rummell

Sherry Rummell is a professional social service worker dedicated to the welfare of each resident. She has seventeen years of experience working in Northern Virginia Nursing facilities. She is experienced in geriatric mental health issues, Alzheimer's behavior management, resident rights and Advance Directives. She is a staunch supporter and advocate for the residents and works tirelessly to help families reach quality of life goals when planning for discharge.

Executive Director, Renaissance Pediatric Unit: Sherry Womeldorph

Sherry Womeldorph RN, has 22 years of nursing and health care experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a masters in health care administration.

Director of Pediatric Rehabilitation Services: Anju Sharma

Anju Sharma is dedicated to helping each resident achieve his or her own highest level of mobility and independence. She has over 20 years of experience and hold a bachelors degree in rehabilitation and physical therapy.
